Mega Millions Scratch Card Review

Lottery-themed scratch cards have the unique benefit of offering players something familiar alongside the mystery that a scratcher holds. Gluck, a company with over 85 developers at the helm, has developed just this type of game for people who are seeking the thrill of winning some cold, hard cash. In this Mega Millions scratch card review, we will look at how to play this scratcher and if the available prizes could potentially leave you smiling.

Gameplay

Mega Millions Scratch CardIt is very easy to play a game of Mega Millions scratch card. To begin, you will need to purchase the number of cards that you would like to play. Depending on your budget and how long you would like to play for, we recommend that you purchase more than one to avoid the repetitive process of purchasing another one after scratching each individual card.

Once you have made your purchase(s), you can start the game by clicking the “Play Scratchcard” button at the bottom right of the play area. This will initiate the scratcher and allow you to ‘scratch’ the front of the card away by moving your cursor over the area. Doing this will reveal nine hidden symbols that each resemble a lottery ball number above a cash value.

Once you have revealed all nine hidden symbols, there are a further five symbols in a bar at the top of the scratcher that will also need to be revealed. These symbols represent five lottery balls and are also revealed by moving your cursor over them.

If you do not want to go through the process of having to reveal all the symbols manually, you can click the “Reveal All” button to instantly scratch all the applicable areas of the card and reveal the symbols beneath.

To win a prize, you will need to match a number from the main scratch area with one of the lottery balls at the top of the screen. Doing this will win you the monetary value that is linked to that number. Winnings will be easy to see due to the growing and shrinking of all winning symbols and balls.

Graphics

If you are used to online scratch cards that make use of many animations and have great sounds, then this scratcher may bore you slightly. Except for the growing and shrinking animation mentioned above, all of the graphics are static. The only additional visual effect is a cracked look that is applied to the front of the scratch card as you move your cursor over it.

There is also no background music, sound, or special effects to speak of in the game. While some may like this because it removes the distraction of any music, it could become slightly boring if you are playing for an extended period.

Prizes

The odds of winning the main jackpot in the game are 1 in 7,500,000. This number may seem excessive but quickly becomes understandable when looking at the jackpot, which is just over €150,000! There are plenty of other prizes that are shared amongst the 15,000,000 active cards and are distributed across 36 different payment tiers. These tiers and their prize amounts are detailed below:
