FreeLottoFest Review 2024
FreeLottoFest.com was launched toward the end of 2017 and is operated out of Cyprus. It was started by one of the world’s largest lottery winners, Harry Dazz, in order to give players the chance to win without having to spend obscene amounts on lottery tickets. Available in English only, the site offers users the opportunity to participate in competitions to win jackpots free of charge. All prizes on the site are stated in South African Rand (ZAR). In this FreeLottoFest review, we will be looking at how to play using its services as well as whether there are any catches to what is advertised as a “completely free” online lottery website.
Lotteries Available
FreeLottoFest does not offer any popular international lotteries to participate in. Instead, it offers players the chance to enter into seven of the site’s own unique competitions. These competitions are structured according to their jackpot payout and take place every day at 7:00 pm CET. The competitions and jackpots are structured as follows:
- Competition 1: Jackpot of ZAR10,000 (€634 / $712)
- Competition 2: Jackpot of ZAR20,000 (€1,267 / $1,424)
- Competition 3: Jackpot of ZAR40,000 (€2,535 / $2,848)
- Competition 4: Jackpot of ZAR60,000 (€3,802 / $4,272)
- Competition 5: Jackpot of ZAR80,000 (€5,069 / $5,697)
- Competition 6: Jackpot of ZAR100,000 (€6,337 / $7,120)
- Competition 7: Jackpot of ZAR12,000,000 (€760,821 / $854,951)
All jackpots are paid by site advertising, user surveys, and WinFest subscriptions (more info on these later).
How Does It Work?
Entry into the seven daily competitions offered by FreeLottoFest could not be any simpler. All that is needed is registering a free online player account by providing some of your necessary details. Once registered, you are able to participate in all of the competitions. This is done by selecting numbers for Competition 1 and submitting them to the site. Once they have been confirmed, you will automatically be redirected to choose numbers for Competition 2 and so on until you have entered into all seven.
Once you have entered them all, you will be given a chance to do a short survey to receive an additional entry for all of the competitions. This means that it is possible for you to submit 14 entries into the competitions every day.
One thing to note is that you cannot enter directly into the major jackpot draw of Competition 7. You will need to enter into each of the competitions consecutively to be able to reach this last one.
Is FreeLottoFest.com a Scam or Legit?
Based on the fact that they have been around for just over a year, FreeLottoFest offers an impressive online reputation. They are also a registered UK company which is subject to applicable auditing and operation regulations. All this, mixed in with the fact that the site offers comprehensive and water-tight terms and conditions, as well as the fact that using the site services does not cost anything, allows us to say that we think they are worthy of our—and your—trust.
User Experience
FreeLottoFest is great in terms of site usability and design; the site flows naturally and uses strong contrasts and fun images to capture your attention in all the right places. It loads flawlessly and responds well to use on smartphones and tablets. The registered user area is uncluttered and shows you everything you need in one place.
FreeLottoFest.com Features
FreeLottoFest offers a service called WinFest subscriptions. This is a subscription service that is charged monthly and automates your participation in the daily competitions. As a WinFest member, you will not need to log in each day to enter into the seven competitions but instead will automatically be entered into them at the start of each day. You will also not have to check the results each day to see if you have won, as your entries will automatically be scanned and you will be notified if you have any winnings due.
Additionally, you will get access to the lucky horoscopes section of the site. This section is reserved for WinFest members only. The site, however, does not offer any information to non-WinFest members on what this section is.
Payment/Withdrawal Options
Due to the fact that playing using FreeLottoFest is free, you do not need to worry about making any payments. That is, however, if you are not subscribing to their WinFest service. If you are, you will be able to pay using Visa, MasterCard, or Maestro.
Withdrawals are made via either cheque or direct bank deposit into your nominated bank account. They are stated to take up to 30 days from the date the withdrawal is requested.
How to Claim Your Winnings
Claiming your winnings depends on whether you are a WinFest subscriber or not. If you are, your entries into the competitions are automatically checked against draw results and you will be notified of any winnings. These winnings are then automatically paid out using your selected withdrawal option.
If you are not a WinFest member, you will need to manually check the draw results each day to see if you have won. If you did, you will need to contact FreeLottoFest to claim your winnings.
For all winnings, you may be requested to verify yourself by providing proof of identity and residence. And, while all winnings from Competitions 1 to 6 are said to pay out within 30 days, jackpot winnings from Competition 7 will be paid out in 25 instalments over 25 years. This means that you will only receive ZAR480,000 (€30,432 / $34,183) each year from the time that you win. While that’s still a nice chunk of change to receive every year, 25 years is a very long time to wait.
Customer Support
There are few customer support options available for FreeLottoFest. Online, the only offered support option is a support email address (info@freelottofest.com). The site states that support queries may take up to 48 hours for a response.
The site also features a comprehensive FAQ section that will likely answer most of the questions you could have about playing.
Welcome Bonus and Other Promotions
Due to the fact that the services offered by FreeLottoFest are free, we were neither disappointed nor surprised to find that there is no welcome bonus available for new players or any other promotions offered throughout the site.
Rules and Regulations
Players must be 18 years or older to make use of the FreeLottoFest platform. Also, while the site does not specify that residents of any countries are banned from play, it does state that legal residents of the following countries may play:
- USA
- New Zealand
- Ireland
- United Kingdom
- Canada
- Australia
- Namibia
- South Africa
FreeLottoFest.com Review – Conclusion
FreeLottoFest is not going to make you a millionaire, even if you win its top ZAR12,000,000 (€760,821 / $854,567) 25-year-annuity jackpot. Nevertheless, it is still a good place to enter into competitions to potentially win free money without having to pay a cent.
We look forward to seeing what other innovations they might start offering in the future and, until then, think they are doing an excellent job at offering people a good place to enter into free lottery draws. However, if you don't mind paying a few dollars to play through one of the best lottery sites instead, there are many great alternatives available.
