In this Today Lucky Numbers Android app review, we will look at the different features available and how you can use them to make your life a little bit easier.
Stand-Out Feature
The main feature of the app is a random generator. At least, we assume that it works as a ‘random’ generator considering that the app states that all numbers generated are based upon your date of birth, which you are required to enter upon first launching the app.
From the home screen you can select one of four options:
Lucky Numbers: This section allows you to select the digit quantity of the number you would like generated, and then it generates a number for you. An example of this is that if you have selected to generate a number with two digits, your generated number will fall within the range of 10 and 99. One thing to note is that no matter how many times you press Generate, the same number will be generated for a 24-hour period.
Lucky Dates: After selecting what month you would like a date generated in, the app will generate a random date within that month. As with the lucky numbers, the app will generate the same date for 24 hours.
Lucky Colour: This feature generates a random colour. As with all the other generations, this colour is deemed to be based upon your date of birth.
Lottery Numbers: This feature allows you to generate random number sequences to be used to purchase lottery numbers. You will be required to enter in the amount of numbers you would like drawn, as well as the number range that you would like the numbers to be chosen from. The app will then generate a random number sequence for you. As with the other features, this can only be done once in a 24-hour period.
Additional Features
Because Today Lucky Numbers relies heavily on your date of birth, it should come as no surprise that the additional features also center around that. These features have nothing to do with the main features listed above, and yet they are still a neatly included addition to the app—even if they are slightly out of place.
Astrological Sign: The app uses your date of birth to determine what astrological sign your birth falls under. It then displays the logo of your star sign on the home screen with an info link that tells you facts about that specific astrological sign.
Daily Horoscope: We must start by saying that this is certainly not something that we expected to see in a randomization application. However, based on your star sign, the app also delivers a daily horoscope to your home page.
Themes: In the settings menu of the application you will find the option to change the theme of the app. This is a feature that we have not often seen and something that is definitely appreciated. There is a selection of six themes available that range from black to pink.
Location & Lotteries Available
Considering that this app does not really have any ties to an actual lottery, we are not shocked to see that there are no officially supported lotteries.
User Interface & Usability
The design of Today Lucky Numbers is something that we like to see in the apps that gravitate towards the top of our best lotto apps list. The design is modern and, due to the customizable themes, is great for if you are looking to mix things up every now and again.
Movement between features in the app also occurs flawlessly, and we were impressed to see that, even when forced into full-view mode, the app performed without any glitches and still looked great.
Ads
The app does make use of some ads. Strangely enough, however, these are restricted to appearing on the feature pages and not on the home screen. The ads take the form of square poster ads that are placed at the bottom of the page. They do not get in the way of seeing or interacting with any feature and are easily ignored unless you actively scroll down to view them.

Today Lucky Numbers could frustrate you because you can only generate one sequence of numbers, or one colour, per day. However, the app overall is decent enough to warrant installing if you have the patience to wait 24 hours to get a newly generated sequence of numbers for you to play in your favourite lottery. For most lottery players who require new number combinations often, this will likely not be a viable option, but that doesn’t mean some players won’t find value in it. Ultimately, the great design, functionality, and development of the app, when all mixed together, make it a pleasure to use.
