EuroMillions Scratch Card Review
A large amount of the general populace enjoys trying their luck to strike it big by playing the lottery. Therefore, it is logical that the next best thing would be lottery-themed scratch cards. Gluck, a Gibraltar-based online game development company, realized this and delivered. In this EuroMillions scratch card review, we will look at how this scratcher works and what it could earn you.
Gameplay
EuroMillions scratch card, like so many other online scratch cards, is incredibly easy to play. To begin, you will need to purchase however many scratch cards you would like to play. Once you have purchased your cards, you can start playing by tapping the “Play Scratchcard” button. If you would like the hidden symbols to be instantly revealed, you can opt to click the “Reveal All” button that appears once you have started playing. This will bypass the need for you to ‘scratch’ the card and will instantly tell you if you are a winner or not.
If you are looking for the full experience of an online scratch card, then you can use your cursor to move over the top of the scratch area. This will remove the top layer of the card and reveal the symbols beneath. Symbols take the form of lottery ball numbers that sit atop a monetary value.
Once you have revealed the nine hidden symbols in the main scratch area of the game, you will also need to reveal five lottery balls that are located at the top of the screen. Unveiling these is done in the same way as with the main card area.
A win occurs when one of the lottery numbers from the main scratch area of the card matches one of the lottery balls revealed at the top of the screen—meaning that you stand a chance of winning five different matching pairs. The amount won will correspond with the monetary value displayed beneath the lottery number that you have matched.
Seeing if you are a winner is also very easy thanks to the fact that all winning symbols will begin to pulsate along with the lottery ball that they have matched with. If this is not enough to grab your attention, there is also a banner that appears to the left of the scratch card that tells you that you are a winner and the total amount that you have won.
Graphics
The graphics in EuroMillions scratch card are completely static, apart from the animation applied to winning symbols. However, the overall detailing of the game is decent enough that it should not turn anyone away. There is also a nice ‘broken glass’ effect that is applied to the face of the card as you scratch away at it.
Unfortunately, there is no music at all in the game, so it would make no difference if your device has speakers or not while playing it.
Prizes
True to its lottery namesake, the jackpot amount of EuroMillions scratch card is nothing small—clocking in at just over €100,000. The odds of winning this jackpot are 1 in 5,500,000, which seem like a staggering amount. However, those odds are not too bad considering that the game has 15,000,000 active scratch cards in play. Cost to Play
Considering that you stand a chance of winning more than €100,000, the price tag of €2.50 per card is not bad. If you don’t want to pay this, there is a free play version available that allows you to try your luck on five scratch cards. Understandably, any winnings won on these cards are not claimable.
Supported Platforms
The game is fully accessible from any device that uses a modern browser and is connected to the Internet. Unfortunately, because the game is developed specifically for Jackpot.com and they do not have a mobile app, it doesn’t look like the game can be played on mobile devices.
Bottom Line — Is EuroMillions Scratch Card Worth Playing?
EuroMillions scratch card places a unique spin on a popular lottery by bringing it to the digital scratch card scene. The game is great to play, even though it lacks some major features (such as sound or engaging animations). Regardless of these shortcomings, if you are a fan of EuroMillions, we recommend that you give this scratcher a try.
