Hercules Magnus Scratch Card Review
Nothing beats a bit of Greek mythology mixed in with the chance to win some—and possibly even a lot of—extra spending money. Pariplay, leaders in online game development with almost ten years of experience, seem to have realized this and created a scratch card that caters to this somewhat odd combination. In this Hercules Magnus scratch card review, we will look at what this scratcher is about and how you can use it to try and earn some extra dough.
Gameplay
To begin play of Hercules Magnus, you will need to purchase the number of cards that you would like to play consecutively. Once you have done this, playing the game is as easy as following three easy steps.
Step one entails initiating the game and beginning play. This is done by clicking on the “Play Now” button. Clicking this button will reveal the scratch card, which appears as a square that has a small ‘tail’ in the center of the bottom part of the grid. This ‘tail’ holds the multiplier that is discussed below.
The second step is to decide if you would like the game to instantly reveal if you are a winner or if you would like to reveal all the hidden symbols yourself. If you select for the game to reveal the symbols for you, all that you need to do is click the “Scratch All” button that appears when you start each round/card. If you opt to use this feature, you can skip step three and move straight to seeing if you are a winner.
If you did not choose to instantly reveal the game symbols in step two, you would need to use your cursor to scratch away at the face of the card. Doing this will reveal nine symbols (which resemble a variety of items that range from gold coins to the face of Hercules himself) and a multiplier that sits below the symbol grid. This multiplier is applied to any winnings from that card and comes in either 1X, 2X, 5X, or 10X variants.
To win, you will need to match three symbols together. Winning will be easy to identify because all winning symbols will begin to gleam and bounce up and down. If that is not enough for you to notice that you are a winner, the game will also display a banner that appears on top of the scratch area that tells you the cash amount that you have won.
Graphics
The graphics of Hercules Magnus are along the lines of what we have come to expect from Pariplay. All the detailing in the game is excellent, and the animations are fantastic. These animations include rolling clouds and lightning in the background of the game and an impressive coin explosion if you win an amount over a specific limit.
In addition to the stunning visuals, the game makes use of exciting sounds to make it more engaging. Wins are signalled by a happy tone, and the sound of scratching is evident as you reveal the symbols. The background music is also fun to listen to at first, but it does become repetitive and annoying if you play for too long.
Prizes
The odds of winning the main jackpot of €50,000 are 1 in 10,000,000—a staggering amount. To add to this, the RTP percentage of this game is only 59.9%, which is well below the usual Pariplay percentage. It is also important to mention that even if you match three Hercules faces together (the highest-paying symbol), you will only win the jackpot amount if you manage to uncover the 10X multiplier as well.
Prizes are spread out over 10,000,000 active cards and are managed by a 31-tier prize table. Each tier is detailed below:

Cost to Play
The cost of a single Hercules Magnus scratch card is not very high considering the prize jackpot of €50,000. A single scratcher only will cost you €0.50, which in our opinion, is on par with other online scratch cards with similar jackpots.
If paying even €0.50 is more than what you are willing to do, then the game does offer a demo version that allows you 10 cards of free play. Considering most free plays in other scratch games are limited to five cards, this is quite generous.
Supported Platforms
The game runs in any modern web browser and requires a steady Internet connection to play.
Bottom Line — Is Hercules Magnus Scratch Card Worth Playing?
Pariplay is known for its outstanding games, and Hercules Magnus is no exception to this. While the odds and the RTP percentage may not be as high as some other Pariplay games, the nice graphics and excellent gameplay of this scratcher definitely make it worth playing.
